Looking for a 4G63 to rebuild.

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

Will take you up on that Brian. Such a kind offer deserves work, so if your home on the weekend, will drop that turbo down for you.

Got WA Suspension to point the wheels for me today. Used Dougmo and SKM's suggestions from the other thread on wheel alignment. See how it goes. Also realised I've pulled a exhaust manifold stud, 10mm one on the gearbox end. Fucking yay. Scruitineering tomorrow at Ossie park for TSW, hoping they don't fail me for the fart noise coming from the head. On the weekend I'll drill it out and put a 12mm stud in.

Got stuck in today.

Bought some plain old disc's for a 3000GT, nice dimpled slotted ones wouldn't get to me on time. Todd and I re drilled to fit, and stuck our own dimples in.

Also got our brain buckets and Hans delivered. Installed the intercom from the Stilos. Which are up for sale if anyone in Perth wants them.

First job I was supposed to do was re stud the head but turns out the problem is a warped manifold, so it's off to the machinist to get if flat again on Monday I hope. Really hope that goes well, or we will be going for a swim in shit creek.

Well, it's game on. Leaving today for the Targa South West. Good 6hr slow slog to Pemberton. Weather is......wet, wet, wet.
YeeeHaaah

I like your trailer.
Would you mind letting me know specs (length/width etc). Is it tilting?

Car looks good too btw......

how did you go George? pretty heavy rain I hear?

Piss wet through George! Very wet.
We came home straight, better than a couple of others. The wet claimed some high calibre blokes, and some very expensive bits of kit. I will be the first to admit that I made the 'alive pussy' call over the 'dead hero' call on more than a few occasions over the weekend, particularly on the long Gloucester stages. 200km/hr on wet bumpy roads lined by big fat trees, just made me shit my pants to tell the truth. That said, we still had a shit load of fun, managed some pretty competitive times when I grabbed my balls and had a crack. Will get some videos up soon when I get time to edit out all the 'pussy bits' :)

It was actually custom built for an Escort. It tilts on the axle, it's about 120mm wider than a GSR track width, actual tray length is about the same as the length of the GSR. It is only 1500kg rated and the car needs to be 'dry as' to make that weight. Light truck tyres with 101/102 load ratings carry the weight ok. Jap spec drum hubs do the braking. I can post up detailed specs later if you want. The only thing I hate about it is having to climb out the window when you drive it on, it's like watching a whale give birth.
