Low headlight washer fluid?

Hey guys,


Got a strange warning on the dash, at first thought it was coolant. Turns out it was a warning for low headlight washer fluid. I'm 99% sure i don't have a headlight washer option installed on the car. Looked all through the manual and couldn't find anything on it?

Anyone know how to stop this sucker from lighting up? aside from magic black tape of course!

Remove the globe from the back of the dash.

I might have to, it's strange though why it would all of a sudden show up. I don't see why there would be a sensor playing up if there's meant to be nothing there unless the plug in the loom has come loose.

It was windscreen washer fluid! haha how funny, the owners manual I have is for the 98 model.

I had the same recently. I was also afraid that it was a coolant level warning light.
But luckily it went off when I filled the windscreen washer fluid.

It's a great thing to have on these cars, also good to know (after looking closer) the critical warning lights are positioned on the right hand side of the dash and are colored RED. The left side is orange lights

Is it the light in the attached pic? Because it looks like a coolant warning! Although I have never seen it before.

I can't check the car at the moment as I am away - it's the wife that had sent me the picture.

yeah that's the light elnevio, the misses was driving it when it came on and what she described to me sounded like a coolant light. I freaked a bit when I heard that, got her to stop and wait for me to come check it out

Yep, she added some water to the screen wash and the light has stopped for now!

Yes I can put my hand up to a small panic when this light came on for the first time 100km from home
Thought it was coolant too. (but of course it wasn't)

Well, tbf I would do the freaking out, mainly because if there was a serious problem she'd probably keep driving until the car physically wouldn't move any further...
