straight to the 11's

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

Depends what you wanna do with your engine. If you are looking for mainly street and some good quarter mile passes, stick with the 2 litre - especially if you only want 11's. A proper built 2 litre vs stroker on the quarter is much of a muchness apparently - the stroker obviously not working as hard but its a bit lazier. I remember having a discussion with Andre from Speedtech about it a while back and he honestly said to just stick to the 2 litre unless you want to go for outright HP. Just my 2 cents - you dont have to give me any change

No big name has gone for times with the 2.3

maybe that in itself is sayin something, i have heard that the 2.3's have a shorter life expectancy than the 2.0l, and if the big guys are choosin the 2.0 over the stroker maybe there is a reason for it

B/C there is no need to stroke the engine.
Shep is running close to 200mph, why f$#@ with that and stroke the engine when clearly he is hammering.

In drag racing, its all about the top end.

You simply dont have the top end with a stroker than what you do with a 2.0.

yep save yourself the 2k from stroking and invest in a good turbo ;)

the fp3052 turbo is the goods

i will probably be hitting the tracks in about a month. Once most things are on.
