Hooray I got my car back :D:D

GTPUMPS told my mech it was the worst turbo he had ever seen :twisted:

My wastagate had cracked open and some seal had been sucked in and melted...

Damn it sucks with no car...
 
its set to 7psi for run in, was told there is 0 tolerence as its such a big wheel, gotta keep it sane for 500km then ill dial up the psi and will get back to you :D

clutch feels awesome and weird, jim berry brass button race clutch

it actually comes back :p

gearbox is still shitty though in desperate need of rebuild :S

takin car in on monday now for exhaust :( no time today. supposedly my cat is actually dripping oil :D

It might pay to ask the people who actually have or have had these turbos on their car.. not what people read on other sites.

i have read from a lot of guys on US forums that a 50-trim is a great street turbo, comparable to something like a 20G. I'd like to get my hands on one soon if i can and find out for myself.

Yes I have to agree that its always best to get tried and proven feedback but from a few people with the same setup or very similar so you can build a big picture and make an informed decision from various opinions. Sometimes you have no choice but to read reviews or articles from others around the world to see what they are getting out of them with proof like dynos etc (with different engine setups as well). It's because one man's Jessica Simpson is another man's Oprah Winfrey and one guy might be running stock cams but another 272's etc etc etc that there will always be a difference of opinion. Therefore the final decision is ultimately yours :wink:
