I feel you need to leak test all the way up to your boost level of 24psi. As you have a ebc, it will be shut and no pressure will get to the wastegate. You could bypass ebc for testing, or matbe if ignition is on, the ebc will operate?
Sure, test at 10psi and see how it looks, fix leaks and then increase pressure...
Often a leak will not show till you get higher up on the pressure. Mine wouldnt even hold 6psi when I started. I had leaky intercooler bolts, porous welds, leaks at silicone joiners, tb shaft seals, even the biss screw.
I dont know what a good result is tho. Mine drops from 12psi to 6psi in about 45sec. Its better than it was, and some of it must be going past rings. I think if you get to your pressure level and you cant find any leaks with bubbly water, then thats fine. Any pressure drop must be past the rings at that stage.
I have a thread showing my tester on here somewhere. The poly end fitting slips in the silicone hose at about 10psi. Spray with hairspray to get better grip, (this applies for all silicone connections.
Remember your pcv valve can leak into rocker cover.
Happy testing. I have tb seals if you still have evo tb.
