Anyone know if this fits on a GSR?

- Inlet Size: 2.5"
- Barrel Size: 6"X10"
- Tip Size: Twin 3" O.D Double Wall

looks like it would fit upside down..... but would stick out or have to be slanted to fit the actuator in...

I have measured up my current muffer and its bigger than that, but this is on a E3

Ive has my varex on for about a year and a half, 3" with huge tip (cannon)

I want to get an oval 1 or a twin tip now, the tip is just huge

And i got sick of the remotes, so i hard wired mine to a reverse polarity switch :)

I love my Varex as well... and mine's a big fuk-off canon with 4" tip
Everybody who sees/hears it in operation loves it too! :)
Now that Im driving the car nearly every weekend I have pulled up alongside many V8's at traffic lights and made their wee-wee's feel smaller by out-lumping their idles  Quiet when you want it to be, and loud and free-flowing when you want it to be too. I tell you what, if it didnt have a 4" tip I'd probably fuk it too, that's how good it is!!

i hate the straight tip on my VAREX, i've tried to get a droopy for it but its odd ball size, like 4.40" and i can only get 4" or 5" drooppies :(

is that just a momentary switch you have hooked up?

im still keen to do an on/off switch, someone mentioned the other day that an alarm automatic window controller might be able to do the job.

The switch worked basically like a power window switch, u need to hold it down otherwise it goes back to the middle

Dre... can you put up a pic, can you get under it at all to have a look how they did the pipe work at the back near the suspension?

yeah sweet, once it dries out ill crawl under for you

I got the twin tip oval, I held it up under the car and I reckon it should fit, they have changed the design of the twin tip so it is the same as the single tip one internaly just has a y then the twin pipes out so the motor on top is in the middle instead of at the side, it would have fitted better with the old design I reckon due to the chassis rail being in the way, I will se how it fits once I get my car running for a start...

can someone measure the total height of the oval muffler with the actuator box? i need to fit one under an alfa gtv which doesn't have much clearance.

also, how much are you guys paying? they've jumped up price recently.

after all the info in this thread, not seen any photos of a verex fitted up to a sadan :p

anyone have any they want to load up? I've got a cannon (no idea on brand) on my car at the moment and am looking to replace it with a verex. Have seen one of the oval models fitted up to a CC GSR but it didn't look right (sat to low, ti[ 2-3" bellow the bar cutout). apprently the exhaust shop couldn't fit it any higher because the actuator wouldn't allow it?

Old photos taken with mobile phone under my CC AWD coupe whilst at the zorst shop. The exhaust system and fitment will run the same way as the sedan does and we found plenty of room to fit it under the back. Its a 3" stainless exhaust system with cannon style Varex muffler 4" tip. The actuator/ motor sits on top and the wiring goes through one of the rubber grommet drain holes in the side of the boot :) Luckily when I added a h/duty rear swaybar it fit up and cleared the exhuast lol :)

The switch is known as a rocker switch, double throw, centre off, and depending on how many circuits you need to control will govern how many poles. Anyway jaycar do switchs that I believe would suit Part numbers SK0980 SK0987 SK0991 link http://www.jaycar.com.au/productResults.asp?whichpage=2&pagesize=10&keywords=rocker+switch&form=KEYWORD depending on current draw you may need to use relays.

Hope this helps.

Resurrecting this thread, got the cannon thrown on today, wow really should have done this ages ago.
