i should be down for this one. Is there really that much of a difference with the shell 100ron fuel? compared to a 98ron one?

Unless your car is tuned to use the extra octane (extra timing/more boost/etc) then the extra octane won't do shit.

Thanks guys, you all got suckered into a new toy.

I run 95 octane premium in the vr4 because hte extra 5 bucks for a tank of 98 doens't do anything.

It depends on how far down the gor you go. I usually organise a jan cruz for the laser forums that I was on which we go to Apollo bay which there is no 98 orn fuel only premium but I?m not too sure about Lourn. If I have my new car by then I will be there but it?s highly unlikely that I will be, good luck on the cruz

When i found out, I was like WTF? I had a fun cruise to Apollo Bay on Xmas day. Good thing it didn't happen that day! Saw a 2006 STi drive crazily on the way back to Melbourne on Xmas day. He was doing some very stupid overtaking.... :roll: He didn't impress me or the other drivers that much. Pricks like him make us all pay dearly for our insurance premiums
