VIII MR turbo upgrade ?

Iv been offered a EVO VIII MR turbo, but am wondering is this is a real worth while upgrade for a VI.
Stuff iv seen on the web, say they are basicly the same turbo (10.5 rear) but the VIII MR RS has a Ti wheel (slightly faster spool)

your basically turning it into a Makinen Edition.... boost would be around 500rpm ish earlier... Titanium Aluminide Alloy = Less inertia.. cheaper upgrade without having to get a custom setup....

Depending on how cheap the turbo is- surely there's other areas you could mod before you need to upgrade the turbo! Even if you are going to upgrade- why not get something a little bit bigger- cos on paper, its not really that much of an upgrade

for you no difference mate, its an upgrade if you got the 9.8turbine.... if the MR has the optional TI wheel then spoolup about 300rpm earlier. honestly unless your current turbo is gone and you do not want to go bigger not worth it.

spot on these ones are easy pulling 240wkw with the mivec on the E9's

just upgrade the accuator to a 1.5bar setup

I would recommend going for a Evo IX turbo for your application.
