the other day i was driving along just driving normally as i went to shift to 4th gear i pressed in the clutch  as i pressed it, the clutch pedal lost all presure!!! wtf??? the friction point had moved from normal to right down to the floor....i only had to lift it about 1 cm up she was engaged in gear.....so i ripped off the lower dash and tryd adgusting the master cyl and pedal....nothing  then a mate bled the clutch....nothin ....now, my clutch is 3-4 months old its a heavy duty exedy.....i got a new clutch master cyl at the same time and i just went out and got a new clutch slave cyl and put it on.....lolz nuthin......can ya understand my fustration????? what do u guys think it could be????

check the clutch fork maybe its slipped or something if its not that try take it back to who ever did your clutch and get them to have a look at it for u.

sounds like a hydraulic problem to me.

are you losing any clutch fluid?

any signs of leakage around the slave?

get someone to depress the pedal while your checking the firewall from inside the engine bay. heavy duty clutches slowly wear out the firewall with the pressure and hence making then tear a hole in them. cost around 300ish to fix.

yeh i bled it again......nuthin happened......i was leakin fluid at the slave but i just put a new one in last nightso thats right.....it sounds like a hydrolic issue to me too.....but all thats left is the clutch fork, thrust bearing or the clutch itself......fukin weird ay?!

i doubt it would be any of those... if you lose pressure, its hydraulic.

if the clutch fork was broken, you would be pushing the pedal down but it wouldn't be moving the clutch plate far enough.

Iv had this issue when doing track work on hot days (34+)
My Slave cyl was Fuwcked, and i think the fluid was getting to hot

yeah my friction point is about 1cm from the bottom as well.. stock clutch..

can this be fixed..?

This happened to me also ... It was when I first put the engine in ... It would only happen every now and then ... The problem for me was that one of the bearings was almost fused to the crank ... The previous owner never looked after the engine, and I had to replace the crank ... After that, problem fixed...

This has also happened to me on two occasions. The problems were:
#1 the slave cylinder seal was leaking, could drive it for a while then when the car was turned off and left all the fluid would just dump. Upon inspection we noticed that the rubber had perished.

#2 this one was bad, the master cylinder shat itself, and fluid also got dump on the inside of the cabin, this was an easy fix though. Just replace and bleed clutch.

Also, as mentioned earlier, get someone to press the clutch pedal, while you look at the firewall for flex near the clutch resevoir, if its not cracked already, and is flexing noticably, i'd suggest strengthening it before it cracks like mine did. If it is and you want advice on strengthning it, pm me and i'll help you out.

master cyclinders broken
slave cyclinders broken
pedal box broken

thats what ive had to replace so far :)

master was leaking from inside the cabin
slave was leaking apparently, never leaked onto the floor though.
pedal box made a massive crack/snap sound :)

Have not heard of clutch fork being broken before? Someone told me it was impossible to break??

no they r not imposible to brake... but very very rare... if u do not inspect them when putting in a new clutch u will have nothing but problems... they have cracks in spots u would never look... but yeah it seems like it has something to do with the slave cyclinder... but it bleeds fine...

do u need to take off the master cylenda to see if its cracked on the firewall????

I had similar thing happen and it ended up being the clutch fork had broke. Found this out after I reco'd the slave and master cylinders.

If it is just the clutch fork then you should be able to pic up one from any brake joint.

if it is a crack in the firewall a new mount/reinforcing bracket needs to be put on to spread the load. not sure who does this im guessing any engineering joint should be able.
