i have the 5 puk brass button from exceedy and it has always grabbed and never slipped, only ever launched it maybe 4-6 times at high rpm.
its a pain to drive in stop start traffic as there is no friction point but you get used to it.
i would just note, i had my pivot point modified on mine as it was the suspected cause to crank walk in my motor.
