Hey guys im a vr4 man but have had my eyeon this for awhile now , what do you guys think about this model

i think it would be a good one. price is right. people seem to under estimate the rvr's but the are basically evo's in a van lol. i can see them becoming hard to find in the near future

Tdo4, top mount intercooler and a big ass cannon..... Claiming 250 horses and a detuned EVO 6 don't sound right to me, but I could be wrong. Station wagon insurance? Grey import regardless.
Sounds like a salesman who doesn't know what he is selling to be honest. Negotiable would be the best term he uses in the add. Just my opinion mate.
Still looks a reasonable purchase tho.

Yeah cannon would go followed by a turbo and injector upgrade and front mount , im pretty sure it same driveline as evo6 though. I guess could be tuned with evo scan , i dunno why but i just think it looks cool!!! Only think im not keen on is wheel carrier

No bigdeal. Bring parts in. Driveline would be fine to get bits for. And thats what stops you.
Body parts from nz or japan ends up cheaper/faster than sourcing from a wrecker anyway.

Croket is a dodgy bugger too. Im sure he wouldnt be waiting around for factory parts if the fuel pump has stopped.

I obviously don't what the specs of the car are..... Settle down clutz, it was just an opinion, let's not get personal. Don't forget that crocket was after an opinion at the start. Still said it looks like a reasonable purchase tho.
Top mount and tdo4 don't spell EVO 6 to me.
The salesman reference was more about the insurance side. However, I had a look around and they do quote 250 HP and a good slab of Tourque to go with it. So, even though they way a decent 1500kg plus, would still be fun.

Having previously owned a RVR HSG R, Mechanical parts aren't hard to source, as 99% of parts are shared with either nimbus or evo.
What sucks is if you have an accident, then pretty much all the body panels have to come from either NZ or Japan.

ecuflash can tune them. I have an xml for it if you ever need it. I did it for someone in NZ.

1: Swearing, lots of it.

2: I have found it easier to take the whole rear bumper off and flip it, that way you have better access to the nut and pin underneath.

At least, I think it's a pin and nut, mine was so rusted it could have been a poodle for all I know.

You're not alone there mate.... The screw for mine in rusted through...

Body parts are no biggie for me being panel beater spray painter and slowly becoming a 4g mechanic hahahaha

What you call dodgy i call whatever is on hand to get it running !!!! Fuel pump would be straight out swapped for a wally anyway
