I got a message that it will be sent in 2 days, from today! 13th so lets see how slow the "slow boat from china" is
alloy or steel will make no real difference in its performance. Get a piece of wooden dowl and see how strong it is to push on one end, Remember it is reducing the the flex in the chassis not holding the car togeather.
I have a rallyart tower brace and it weighs about 300 grams all alloy but i bet there is F all flex between those strut towers.
it's all to do with fulcrum points. :?

Was your front pipe present?
Even the cusco one i had to use a crow bar and bend it out of the way as on decell it use to hit the frt pipe
All sorted now for some reason when I have heavy industrial tools like that in my hand I cant help but think of Lyle :lol:

when you fit it up, you will have to modify your exhaust to clear the bar.. use truck 3' flexjoint that all the rally guys use.. this is very flexible and will give it enuff clearance if you put the anchors in the right spot for the exhaust to sit.. i have 1 on my car.. it sits about 2mm away from the cusco 4 point brace..

:lol: why the need to modify your exhaust Its around 3-4mm i had to bend it and I'm running a 3" mandrel front pipe. if you are using the the high position factory cat every car I know that has had one fitted, including HKS 2 3/4 frt pipe all have this clearance issue, Maybe if your making a custom bro exhaust you will hopefully remember to have the H brace fitted when exhaust is being made as there is sweet F'all room you have even useing a factory EIII frt pipe.
My factory EII (smaller diameter than eIII) will clear it with no issues I'll find some pics and illustrate it for you.

im running a custom turboback exhaust system with wastegate joining into the exhaust lower.. hence why mine hits.. i got the exhaust done before i even got the h brace. the way i got around it was to use a slip on exhaust.. so the dump pipe slips into the exhaust pipe midway thru the h brace.. this works well.. even if u hd to take the exhaust off, its pretty easy to do and nothings in the way =)
i was considering bending the brace but i thought it would defeat the purpose of having any bracing there.. plus it wouldnt be worth **** all if u wanted to sell it lol..

got one of the ebay ones today and quality seems ok. 123.49 delivered but freight was slow, maybe the christmas period had something to do with that.
