wtb:cusco front underbody brace ce9a (4 point one)

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

this job took about 30 minutes....from jack under to jack out. there was two issues that are easy to solve. fitting was good all holes aligned well and there is ample room for a 3" exhaust....mine is only 2.5"

the front holes are to small and wouldnt go over the bolts, run a 12 mm drill down the slot and all good.

the rear bolts went in fine, however because the h frame has abount a 5mm thick boss on it the standard bolts only go in about 4 or 5 turns before going tight. yep thats enough but a bit longer wouldnt hurt.

now for the decision! to get a fair comparission I then put standard height evo 1 springs in the car, lowered it down and drove it back and forth several times to let it even out. height from ground on flat surface is only 65mm!! I cant get out my f*&king driveway on standard springs. with kings it was way worse.

low.....guys, with kings springs in, any snails crossing the road wouldnt be safe!!

I ve got to see what I can do to make it higher, the front shouldnt be too hard to raise and that is lowest....the rear will have to see what I can do

mines not fitted yet. I'm physicing my self up to do a firmware upgrade on the haltech (retune it too) and change over to my new cams and springs. (tune it again)

Last week made all the tools so i can change the springs over in car and not have to take the head off.

So any brizzy/goldie boys that want to borrow it ... can. after i have finished.

Time is my biggest problem, the restaurant takes a lot of it. and I only really get friday mornings to do anything.

I also have my cage to fit as well.
