Hey out of interest on the early model evo's and gsr's does this make much of a difference in brake feel?

To answer wiskeys question.

have a look in your engine bay at the brake booster and get a friend to put their foot on the brake!!!

there would be about 3-6mm of flex in that fire wall - eliminate that and you get a very solid feel to your pedel. Its not so much that the brakes work better but you have better control over them.

simular to braided brake lines except it's swelling of the hose not flex.

So ultimate (stock upgrade) braided lines, brake master cylinder stopper, good dot 5 fiuld or rf650, and some decent pads front and rear (not just front!) like endless na's or ccx etc.

You will probably not have to change your brake sizing for a while.

as that setup would be probably better than a set of 4 spots and std lines etc etc I even bet it would be better than an evo 9 after 3 laps at QR
(big call hey!!)

dont get too cocky on those pads! make sure they have plenty of air on them for circuit. other than that it should pullup nicely!

Have you done the rears?

Where abouts did you get it from? I've already had to repair my firewall because of excessive flex.

thats nengun though, rock bottom prices, fairly slow on delivery :(

i found greenline is a tad better, you pay an extra few dollars but your stuff arrives faster.

Order through perfectrun or rhdjapan. Both are much faster on shipping, and are very quick and informative with email replies.

out of interest.
do the brake stoppers bolt up differently between the GSR's and the EVO's?
i remember on the installation guide 2 diff pics, but i cant find my guide, and i think mines the wrong way around.
can anyone with a GSR post up a pic for me, if they're confident they've done it correctly?
cheers
