    actually here in NZ its the other way round,evo owners are upgrading to vr4 ratios to help with drag racing-namely avoiding having to change into 5th if their car is fast enough i had a disscussion a few years back with a ralliartNZ workshop and alot of their evo race cars were being rebuilt...

    it wont really work that well,N/A cams are more aggressive than the turbo ones thats why if you took the turbo off say a 4g63t it would run like a dog as the compression ratio is different between turbos and N/A same thing will happen if you put a turbo head minus the turbo onto a N/A

    obviously you will need the evo intake manifold as well,as for the water pump i think you may need all the evo gear there as well,not a 100%sure though as for the question brought up by that link as to wether or not its worth it or not...i say it is if your going to leave the engine mildly...

    for a good manifold it needs to be at least 3mm thick if made out of that material and have proper braces so the manifold isnt supporting the full weight of the turbo,otherwise you will experiance what alot of other bargain hunters have experianced-cracked manifolds and in some cases the flange...

    the evo/vr4 and gsr top tank position is the same or very near the same postion so bying any of those should fit for the top but im not sure if the bottom fitting is located in the same place
