Yeah I'm running a twin plate so the spring probably helps cos it's really not that heavy
I was looking at these a while ago, they look pretty tidy.leadfoot said:stock tdo5 dump fould on the filter to the point where i had to grind away a heat shield mount.
i run a similar one to 3volutionist now minus oil cooler and gives plenty of room.
advice get a GOOD quality remote kit with good thick lines.

Finally could get to this: don't have any welding gear, and can't weld anyway, so went for some aluminium plate (x2 at 5mm + some alumininium sheet to pack it) to sit flush with the top of the bolt collars. Put some tape on it to make a moisture barrier because I'm putting aluminium against steel. I'll see what happens, though from what I can work out this should be OK.Dave_GSR1.8 said:Excellent, thanks Cranked! Your info, plus Jacks, sent me off on a search and I found this thread:

that completes the picture for me and I think I know what I need to do now...
I have to admit I am finding it hard to believe that the original design had just the spacers on the clutch pedal box against the firewall and not a complete plate!
Or have I misunderstood?
