WTF why would you want it to squat?

Sag(squat) in suspension takes time and energy out of your launch. RWDs are the only cars that need to squat as they need to get more down force on the back wheels.

If I am missing the point please explain.

I spoke to Darren at AFAS and he said that Kyp (ATPGSR) had the same problems with me. He has tein coilovers all round and his car wasnt picking up time. He said that when he put the stock suspension in the rear end it went much better.

My car has a REAR lsd.. so i can smoke the rear end up.. i want it to sit on all fours.. and smoke the rears while it takes off.. or so im told..

It picked up about 2mph putting stock rear suspension in.. so it worked in a way.. but the 60's still arent the best.. might have to put some heavier springs in the rear i guess or maybe put some fronts on.

Regarding Heathcote.. not sure at the moment if i will be there.. its a long trip and all.. but ill wait and see... see how i feel and all. Got about an 80% chance of being there.. im more intersted in calder next friday tho!

Tyres dont do much.. barely even noticeable..
It was the fact that i got the toe in the rear fixed and also the stock suspension in the rear end..

KYB shortened sports struts.
Not adjustable, but pretty hard things. I kind of preferred 'on rails' handling to drag setup :p

Ok now you're talking shit.

Tyres don't do much??

Are you serious??

If your trying to get it to squat, then obviously you are able to spin the wheels off the lights.

If you put fat slicks on you wouldn't spin. If you don't spin you take off faster.

Where are you coming from?!

Ahh k, even still, less pressure equals bigger footprint. I would be very surprised if you weren't able to increase your 60' times with 24 psi in the tyres compared to 36.

Seriously with the semi comps i havent picked up ANYTIME. I was reading thru my slips, last year on DOT approved street tyres i nailed 2-3 1.75 60' times.. so yer i think my real issue is fueling.

I was running 91mph or so 660' track when i went 12.7s but now im running 89mph 660' so that means my mid track is down but my topend is improved. Spoken to alot of people about this, they like myself think its got to do with the chip and the fueling. Its flooding my car offline but when it gets good in second/third gear it starts to pull away.

So in will go a new chip soon.

why are you mucking around with chips?
you are going to keep upgrading the car, so whats the point?

programmeable ECU is the only answer.... otherwise your wasting money :!:

A chip is repromgrammable and you can even tune them live while your driving the car with the lambda metre in the exhaust system.

For me personaly its about having an ecu that will be fine on cold starts and drive like a normal car. My car isnt heavily modified so i would still like to keep some of the factory settings.

when are you going to fix the front bar and take the duct tape off?

just testing it to see what speed it falls off.. its been quoted as 100mph tape.. but its held on for 112mph.. wonder how it will go when it runs the 115mph mark
