Help Support 4GTuner:

much better choice imo, secondly, do some research and try and find some one who has parts for a gto, especially a gearbox...very hard to find parts for them

Yes i know parts can be $$$$$, this is the reason i might not get one.

The GTO or the E7 ?

You can get everything out of Japan, 2nd hand transfer cases for like $30, fr shafts for $15 (+shipping etc)
Im looking at a cheapish '96 Black + Leather MR, at the moment, but has high k's (137k) (12mths warranty)

not gearboxes though and they break all the time, i know of two cars recently(last 6 months) that have been wrecked due to not being able to repair the box, they run a getrag from memory

sweet as, could i grab their details?
dont get me wrong troy im not trying to talk you out of it, they just suck to get parts for.

Knowing me, it will see the track, and ill break something, at least a EVO is cheaper to repair.

From www.3si.com

Theres a garage up in Thomastown, i am getting my gearbox rebuilt there($3.5k...ouch) They arent the cheapest however i can vouch for the work they have done on my car in the past. The Shop name is Manuel Automatics.... let me know if you want contact details can get them for you. I'd probably suggest them to anyone in melb as these guys actualy do 3000gt /gto's. they always have a couple in their workshop

i new it would be manual automatics, thanks troy.

were you quoting that from someone else or have you had a box done by them personally?

I think the GTO looks better than an evo7.

The only thing would be servicing/parts, but if you already know of a workshop that work on them regular, whats the issue?

I barely get to see gto's these days...

Not sure i could afford a mortagage, and repair costs on a GTO as well, yes they look sweeeet, but are picky. Track work wont help the repair bills.
Least EVO parts are everywhere, n cheap

Owell GTO will just have to be a dream for ever.

HELLO EVO

Well the E7 i was looking at, was very clean on the outside, but full of rust underneath, and seamed to have had a rear ender.

Now to GTO or to EVO :|
