Hi guy's, I did a search & that didn't help me.
So I'm wanting to know what plug do you use on a EVO III running 20+ psi boost, I'm running the irridiun (I think bkr7eix)

At the moment the car has a SLIGHT miss when sitting there at idle, it's like a slight puff, puff every 1.5-2 sec. I want it to purrrr again nice and clean. :)
Does the evo need a "R" on the plug or can they run without a resistor?
any help would be great.
Cheers.

i think the evo would be the same as the galant and have the resistor type plug reccomended for it, if thats the case it needs to be a resistor type plug i.e have the 'r'

Spark Plug Part No. Plug Gap
Recommended Plug BPR7EKN 0.0 * Make the gap 0.7mm*

Straight from the NGK catalogue!

Ill have to find the said spark plug thread............theres lots but none specific.

*EDIT, just made a spark plug thread sticky in the miscellaneous tech section for most mitsubishi models*

also note:
the NGK book also reccommends -11 plugs for vr4's... which is completely incorrect... vr4's require a much smaller gap..

give the ngk bpr7es a shot..they are .8 out of the box i believe
no need to regap..

cheap too

They are what im running, runs well

What boost are you running on them?
What about the OEM Plug "BPR7EKN" would they be ok for hight boost being a "7"
Whats the diff between BPR7EKN and BPR7ES?
