4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

I will pencil in the 19th!

Should have the new box and rear LSD in by then easily.

Tim just carry a jerry can in the boot or 2

Dont worry with the new gearing I should be able to top 250ks on a tank, so I will also need to fill up, But I can use normal fuel no GO GO Juice for me!!

Just curious tis all.
I'll spend some time this week thinking up a route which doesn't take us too far from home, might even go drive it this weekend if I put my car back together in time.

Yeh, but too much of that route is infested with cops now due to the bikers smearing themselves over the armo each weekend.
I'm thinking of something with more twisty stuff to keep you and Mr Cam Gear/ cruise party pooper down at only half warp speed .

my vr4 is looking good to be there...pending rego and roadworthy...and an engine seats, dash, things like that.

is it possible to join 2 brake lines (the metal pipes) so that i don't have to get complete new lines for the back.

btw ABS is out...hopefully get the block out next weekend and take it to get the rollcage in next week.

Possible - yes, recommended - No as it will defeat the diagonal braking setup that is there for safety reasons (although it would make it much easier to install a hydraulic handbrake though).

For all the trouble of taking the abs out, I would have just left it in and just disconnect it for motorsport use.

I probably didn't make myself clear, what i want to do is run a brake line from the proportioning valve to the old brake line that runs from the front to the back for both sides, so that i don't have to run new lines.

hydraulic handbrake is something i have considered, along with upgraded callipers but i want to see how my current brakes go first.

If you are just replacing the abs unit with brake lines, than that's fine (just make sure you join the correct lines together).
More joins that could possibly leak though.

i know tim, thats what i was going to ask you about, if i drive can you tune, you know ecm link better than anyone else around here.
