4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

Craig are u just wanting to weld up where the sunroof was or replace the roof panel? Carl replaced the roof panel to a sunroof one on mine...he said thats a hell of alot easier than it would be to just weld a pane in place of the sunroof. Why you getting rid of the sunroof anyway?

jerome, i'm getting rid of the sunroof because it's a track car. i doubt i'll find a complete roof panel though, thats the only thing.

my vr4 is looking good to be there...pending rego and roadworthy...and an engine seats, dash, things like that.

is it possible to join 2 brake lines (the metal pipes) so that i don't have to get complete new lines for the back.

btw ABS is out...hopefully get the block out next weekend and take it to get the rollcage in next week.

Joining 2 metal brake lines with a double adaptor if you will, does not conform to ADR's at all.

You need to make it a full line.

Best off talking to a brake place.

A REPUTABLE one:)

Yeh, but too much of that route is infested with cops now due to the bikers smearing themselves over the armo each weekend.
I'm thinking of something with more twisty stuff to keep you and Mr Cam Gear/ cruise party pooper down at only half warp speed .

The one cruise i did take the III on, we were going over some mountain near wivenhoe..samford area or something and I was leading..going like a scalded cat..a bung blew out of the front pipe and i lost some power..hence I slowed right down..as did everyone else....the next corner a cop was radaring..hahah..i saved everyone..should i say my unreliable DSM having a tanty saved everyone.

Yep thats me man
She said u were on here somewhere
small town that TuAKAU
but the people get around everywhere
Bloody KIWIS.

I haven't even worked out my mileage yet
I am probably going to crank the boost up this weekend ( see if I can get it to hold more than 30psi  ) and head out to Willowbank to see if I can coax a low 11 out of the old girl before summer REALLY hits!
I will have to see how the fuel consumption goes on the way there and back.

19 days, i'm gonna be cutting it very fine, hope the suspension gets here tomorrow then i can throw all that in and get it off to get the brake lines done and the roof lining re done.

Due to the stinking hot weather on the weekend, and other issues I had, I haven't yet gone out to find a route. But I have some things in mind. :)
It won't involve long distances, and may even involve a fuel stop for Tim if needed.
