No doubt Senator Xenophon will be happy now (Ifrikken blackmail I call it). He ranted yesterday asking for funding for the Murray-Darliing Basin and pretty much held the balance of power. Looks like the PM threw some money his way overnight for his project and now he's voted for it. Oh look, the Murray-Darling Basin is getting some fastracked funding lol...

The ATO website says most of us will start receiving our payments via bank deposits from 6th April (this Monday). I suppose the people who get it first will be those who had their tax return deposited into their bank account last financial year.

I think uni students and those who receive government benefits are going to get them first.
I dont beleive it will be in order of when tax returns were lodged.
