Sorry Guys, I will not be at the meet. Car's engine finally given up after 110,000kms from re-build and countless drag racings. It will take me months to slowly re-build this engine, not to mention car parts availability. Engine is currently not turning over and is internal issue.

With the hose snapped the engine would have been fried, cylinder head warpped and oil started comming out.

For sale is an original EVO7 Factory intercooler with some standard pipeworks. $150.00 Will add picture later.

The normal black gates belt is good enough for me, plus I replace it every 60,000kms.

I'm Ok to the meeting point, its the cruise route I'm worried about as if I get caught on a red light then I'll be lost. :confused:

a 1/4 mile run result depends on a lot of things, to name a few, power, torque spread, weight, traction, aerodynamics,.... My Chariot/Nimbus been dyno'd at 155Kw on all fours and did a best of 13.01sec 1/4 mile.

Also check the bolts on your hangers bearings. the thread pitch on the bolt looks like metric fine, so should be for mounting something.

Can someone please post a map of the route if possible, I'm not familiar of the location. I need to plan ahead as I'll be comming from way out west. Cheers

I had something similar, turned out to be a corroded battery terminal.

First thing to do is check the basics. Check the plugs, clean and gapped properly. Check the base timing. Air filter clean. Check for air leak(s). TPS setting

It's better selling the car as it is. less hassle. Selling the car in parts is alot of hassle, and you will run out of time. Either way, you will loose money.

You need to ask what you really want, GSR or EVO ? Although they are about 80% the same, each one is marketed at different market. They are both capable of being very very fast, but how fast is enough for you ?

If your getting one, stay away from one with GDI engine. Actually, stay away from Mitsi GDI engines all together.

Silicone might end up blocking holes for idle. Paper gasket do the business, you can get them in different tickness.

Why is PWR water to air too expensive ? I'll be looking at setting one up for my car next year. But they are too expensive, I might end up doing a custom instead.
