Wow. That one is even more scary then normal.. It doesn't even have the Japan compliance plate in it. LOL..

Seems like it. Looking worldwide at prices and it seems the UK is cheapest, even with crappy exchange rate. Good ones go for $10-11k. But obviously freight and duty on top. Luckily I have some relos over there who might be able to keep it in a shed for me!
 
You have to inspect UK cars very closely, they are fantastic at hiding rust and smooching up cars. I have seen cars arrive here that had newspaper stuffed into sill panels then bogged and painted...
Personally I wouldn't be searching there for a good one considering they come here to purchase our cars...

It's a pre 1996 Vic slimline custom plate, the diamond separates letters from numbers (it's a number 1). Back then there where no letter and number mixes, it was a minimum of 3 letters and up to 3 numbers.
