Good numbers there for a auto
All done by driving like an old person on the pension.
(Hey that's me, bugger)

My final fill for the trip was 39.86L plus the 10 "chicken out" litres was 49.86 L for 518km, so I might have made it home, maybe?

Having said that I think my speedo is out and over reads the mileage a little bit so it might not be as good as that for real, but they are nice figures.

but with an rvr engine though, forgot to mention :D :D :D
It's a lot to do with the pressure exerted by the right foot
When I first got the RVR it was so much fun, but you pay for your fun.
55L tank 250 Km to dead empty. (Stuff the environment anyway!)

20 litres/100km sounds about right for having fun and a turbo.

Since I got rid if the crush bends on the exhaust and had EVO 3 ecu installed I get around 9-9.5 l/100km. Previously I was more like 11l's.... Weird.

Having noticed that I got better fuel economy at a speed slightly over the open road limit I finally thought of this

To sit on 110KPH (by GPS) I have to indicate 117 on the speedo
The faster I go The greater discrepancy between GPS and speedo
This means the odometer turns over faster over the same distance and inflates the mileage to some degree
Also means the odometer indicates a higher mileage than the car has actually done

(Would that be about 7%)

I'll have to check Odometer against GPS and find out the truth according to the sky gods
Always knew the speedo was inaccurate but forgot it would also affect the mileage

Means my previous claims in this topic may have been overestimated a bit

Holy Thread Revival Batman!

You must have a bit of spare time on your hands down SA way to be able to sit down and work all this out...let alone be even bothered with it all!

I'm currently getting between 250-350 around town on my HSG r manual, but I have just bought it and it's gotta boost tee on it. The misses was behind me in her SS and said on full boost mine was blowing smoke and her eyes and nose were the fuel was that strong. Ha ha. I've got to get it tuned asap but I have a feeling it's going to be a couple months to source the parts and get the time off I need to get it all sorted.

LOL

True . I just thought I was doing well with my fuel consumption and i realised I may as well not bother and just enjoy it and spend the money.
Although I did think someone smarter than me was working on fuel maps. There was a thread somewhere

And I was feeling a bit bored
